Thermal variations may restrict the hours of activity of lizards with direct impact on its natural history. This study confirms that the thermoregulatory behavior increases with latitude and altitude. Tropical and low altitudes lizards tend to behave as thermoconformers being the most vulnerable. On the other hand, Patagónicas steppe and mountains  represent thermal shelters for lizards who are forced to gradually move to these environments.
