IB-USP Science Program (General Physiology)
Rules for the attribution of institutional quota exchanges
December 13, 2018
1.Criteria for granting scholarships to program students
The program's institutional fellowships will be distributed according to the following priorities:
1.Course Enrollment Time: Students enrolled the longest in the program, without a scholarship, will have top priority in the grant. Enrollments made by students enrolled in the course on the same date will be considered as equivalent temporally if they occur in a same period between dates of completion of the entrance examination tests;
2.In case two or more applicants to the scholarship have the same enrollment time, the one with the highest final grade (average of marks in the different tests) obtained in the entrance exam has priority. This applies even if they have participated in different selective processes;
3.In case of a tie in the final note of the entrance exam, the Scholarship Committee will determine the priority of the grant based on the analysis of the Lattes curriculum of the students and the existence of proof of the scholarship request to FAPESP.
In this analysis, priority will be given to the evidences of scientific initiation, publication of scientific articles as the first author in periodicals indexed in the Science Citation Index (SCI) and application of scholarship to FAPESP. Publications of scientific articles in co-authorship in journals indexed in the Science Citation Index (SCI), presentations of papers in scientific meetings, organization of academic events, academic representation and monitoring will also be considered.
1. Criteria for maintenance of grants awarded
1.The scholarships will be renewed only for students with an annual report of activities delivered (i) according to the deadlines determined by the CCP and disclosed by the postgraduate secretariat and on the program page on the internet and (ii) approved by the supervisor.
